Chemistry tutors needed – Secondary and JC levels

Our students need guidance in Chemistry – whether for a systemic review of how they answer Chemistry questions, or are seeking help to develop skills and techniques to score well at the major school and national exams. They want to practice on-the-spot how to improve in their abilities in answering challenging questions.

We are seeking part time and full time tutors who can teach Chemistry at secondary school and JC levels. Also, we have several assignments every day from parents seeking to engage tutors specializing in PSLE, O Level and A Level exam preparations.

Every day, we need to interview and recruit tutors in all the academic subjects taught in primary and secondary schools, junior colleges, polytechnics and universities. Tutoring locations are all over Singapore. Our clients include parents of students, as well as established tuition centres.

We welcome home tutors with experience in teaching subjects using the MOE syllabus. There is also strong demand for tutors who specialize in teaching PSLE, GCE O Level and GCE A Level students.

Effective Tuition has a strong team of over 20,000 experienced and qualified home private tutors. They are current/former school/JC teachers, university/polytechnic lecturers, graduates/professionals, and experienced university students. Their rates range from $25/hr to $140/hr.

Effective Tuition seeks tutors who can ignite students’ curiosity to inquire into real-world issues that concern their lives. Our tutors provide guidance that includes advice on how to avoid common errors, as well as misunderstandings and misconceptions of syllabus content and exam strategies.

Ms CL is one of our Chemistry tutors. She is an undergraduate at NUS, majoring in Biochemical Science. She has 2 years of tutoring experience, and had studied at Serangoon Junior College and Chung Cheng High School (Main).
